Pearlescent pigments have unique effects on plastics, which create fantastic vision effects and increase added value of products. Pearlescent pigments can be used in plastic packaging for household goods, cosmetic packaging, toys and electronic products to enhance product position. In the use of effect pigments, the same rules apply to thermoplastic and thermoset polymers: the higher transparency of materials, the more prominent effect of pearlescent pigments. For casting resins, special attention must be paid to the orientation and sedimentation of pearlescent pigments.
